CAMPAIGN NEWS

I am proud to have earned the endorsement of prominent unions like the North Central States Council of Carpenters, Minneapolis Firefighters Local 82, Sheet Metal Workers Local 10, and Minneapolis Building and Construction Trades Council. I have spoken about the importance of union apprenticeship programs. Our unions are training skilled workers to help feed Minneapolis’ workforce. Collective bargaining is important and necessary to insure safe workplaces and fair wages. I will always engage and support unions in decisions I make if elected to Minneapolis City Council. I look forward to working closely with unions to ensure that Minneapolis taxpayers get the highest value for their tax dollars when we hire employees and negotiate contracts. Workers can count on my support.
